Luxurious Place in Paradise! This place is amazing! My husband, daughter and her boyfriend had such a great time at both this condo this town. Everything pictured about this place is accurate. The staff is very kind, efficient, and supportive during our whole visit. The owners, Allen and Colette, are also wonderful and very attentive during the whole renting process. In a word - SPECTACULAR! This was our first trip to Zihuatanejo and we wanted to be near Playa La Ropa, so we booked this beautiful Casa. We were looking to relax and unwind, and our goal was achieved! This Casa is well stocked, beautifully maintained & the attention to detail is evident throughout, they have honestly thought of everything - I can't think of a thing we needed that wasn't already provided! The bed is super comfortable and we slept well, hearing only the occasional bird or gecko. The staff were fantastic - friendly & helpful but never intrusive. Each unit is completely private from the others and the main pool is perfect for whiling away the afternoon. Taxis are plentiful and you can go anywhere for about $3.00. Or, order pizza to be delivered and watch another sunset from the patio! Not a bad way to spend another beautiful day. - Shauna B

DETAILS COUNT!! This is the third time that my husband and I have stayed in Zihuatanejo and Casa Ziesta is the perfect location. A short walk to the beach, a short ride (bus or taxi) to the markets. Restaurants within walking distance... Everything about this condo is so well thought out. The condo itself is beautifully decorated. Pictures alone do not due it justice. The kitchen has high quality appliances and everything you need to prepare a meal. The pool area is both beautiful and relaxing. The balcony has a small dipping pool that is private, with a breathtaking view that can also be seen from every room in the condo. The view of the ocean fringed by the roof top garden is beyond spectacular. We will miss seeing this on daily basis. Loved staying here, it had everything we needed and more. I would definitely rate this place more than 5 stars if I could. - Daniel L

My wife and I and another couple just returned from ten days at Casa Ziesta. It was as beautiful and well kept as the photos and reviews state. Although we certainly loved the city of Zihuatanejo and Playa La Ropa the apartment was so quiet and peaceful that we spent several days just lounging there, never wanting to leave. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful. The only sounds you wake up to are the surf, roosters and a donkey down the hill. It is well furnished and everything worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there when we needed them. The owners created a guide for things to do and where to eat that was very helpful. Zihuantanejo has grown a lot since we first visited 25+ years ago! but it is still peaceful and easy to get around. Taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. The walk to and from the beach is short but the hill is very steep. But again, taxis were easy to get and cheap. We highly recommend Casa Ziesta. My only hesitancy is that I don't want to have to share this gem with anyone else. We are already making plans for our next stay. - John R

This was our first time in the Zihuatanejo and staying in this casa was definitely unforgettable. It has all the comforts of home but with a stunning view and Mexican hospitality. I wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our two weeks in Zihuatanejo. Your place is beautiful and very comfortable. The weather was VERY hot and took us awhile to adjust but the small pool in your unit helped alot. The view of the bay is fantastic . Casa Ziesta is so beautifully appointed and perfectly situated we honestly found it hard to spend time elsewhere in Zihuatanejo. The open and expansive views of the bay from the bedrooms, living room and deck are mesmerizing. The common areas at Ensueno10 are all kept to the highest standard as well, including the infinity pool and covered siting and grilling areas. The marvel is that with only six units at Ensueno10 quite often you feel as though these common areas are all your own. The staff on site are very attentive and ready to help on every front from cleaning to providing suggestions on dining and excursions. The whole experience from the get go in arranging our stay with Allen through the reception on site, settling in and (regrettably) departure, was first rate. It really is was one of the best places you could stay in Zihuatanejo. - James

This condo is without peer in my experience. The design, layout, equipage, entertainment systems, kitchen, bathrooms are truly excellent as are the grounds, pool, walk to the beach etc. But the grand view of Bahia Zihuatenejo and the gentle breezes blowing through the open floor plan were majestic. No complaints, everything is as advertised and Allen and his wife couldn't have been more accommodating in making the arrangements. - Dave and Susan

We are now spoiled. This is the nicest casa we have ever stayed in and loved it. The art work is beautiful and the whole casa is very well done. I loved the bathroom shower great design so practical. We don't want to leave and are planning to come back

Back from our vacation in your lovely condo. It is beautiful! We were extremely fortunate to have the entire complex to our selves until the very last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially lounging on the deck in the evenings reading and enjoying the spectacular view and late afternoon swims in the pool after a day on the beach or in town. We can see why you love Zihua so much. The people were friendly and the area is beautiful. So picturesque! We loved listening to the waves crashing on the beach and the many sounds of the wildlife. We had a frog visit us in the bathroom on our last night. Damian manage to catch him and released him outside after he took a few pictures of him. We really appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom. Don't think we would have been able to sleep without it. - Joanne and Damian

​Thank you so much for making your place so wonderful! We had a wonderful time and stayed at the condo for most of it as it was so special and just plain perfect. With two chefs in the house it was equipped with everything they needed which is not always the case- thanks! All in all we loved the place. The staff was amazing and we tipped them well, fed them every night and just really enjoyed their company. I first want to say we had the most enjoyable trip. Many thanks to you and Colette for sharing your home. we Instantly felt comfortable and especially liked the privacy and view. The a/c and the elevator lift were much appreciated. Edi, Enrique and cefious the cat were perfect. What a bonus to have such nice staff taking care of us. We used the heck out of the guide book you sent us and wished we had more time to eat and explore every recommendation. Our parents had difficulty with the stairs and were not able to walk down to the beach. In total there are 60 steps to get to casa 3. The elevator lift was a life saver. We so enjoyed our visit to Casa Ziesta. The condo is beautiful and well equipped. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Sephius was AWESOME. We have 6 cats so it was so nice to have one for the week. Always greeted us when we drove up or left. On Saturday morning, I saw him by the pool drinking water and the next thing that I knew he was on the roof in front of me, I think he would rather watch the birds and bugs than pursue them. We will be returning the Zihuatanejo later this year and hope to stay at Casa Ziesta again. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING. - Rodney and Joy

We had such a great time staying at Casa Ziesta this past week. If only we could have stayed longer... We are definitely interested in staying at Ensueno 10 again. What a fabulous property. My parents are entertaining the idea of wanting to rent the penthouse unit for the entire family or even rent Casa Ziesta next time they take a trip to Zihua just the two of them. Edi told me Colette's brother owns the penthouse unit. I will definitely stay in touch with you both as we plan future trips to Zihuatanejo. The kitchen at Casa Ziesta is state of the art. It's very well equipped and the appliances are very nice. I really enjoy cooking, so we stayed in a number of nights to make dinner. The entire property is well taken care of and we found it quite easy to transition to "vacation-mode." Your condo "guide" is great! I referenced it quite a bit. Our last night, we had dinner at Tentaciones. It was fantastic! Thank you for all the recommendations. I'm sure other guests will like this as well. Again, Paul and I had such a great time. This was my 5th or 6th visit to Zihuatanejo and it was definitely my most favorite. And for being Paul's first time, he was blown away. - Dana and Paul

We just spent a week in Casa Ziesta and had a great time. The condo is as advertised. A very quiet retreat it felt at times as if we were alone in our private villa. A steep climb to La Ropa Beach and a couple of good restaurants. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and the dip pool is luxury. Edi the concierge does a great job of looking after the guests. Take the warning about scorpions seriously. You will have a first class holiday staying in this condo. - Tim and Sherry

The condo was wonderful. Everything we needed was there. The pool was very nice and always clean, and sometimes we felt we were the only ones in the complex (I think one of the days, we were the only ones there, or maybe with one other couple). We found the walk up and down the steep hill manageable, although depending on fitness levels or age, it could be daunting. I don't know if there is an alternative there (feels silly to take a taxi up the hill when coming from the beach...)
The staff were great. We met Edi (super nice) and Enrique (also very nice). They helped us call taxis, talk about restaurants, etc... We had cleaning staff I think once in the middle of the week, which was enough for us. We went into Zihua Centro several times to browse, eat, go scuba diving, etc... and had no issues. Casa Ziesta was perfect in every way! The view is amazing and the condo is well appointed. It is certainly "as advertised". The owners have provided many thoughtful details (written guide, local/organic coffee, extensive glassware, laundry supplies, beach towels, binoculars, wine refrigerator, etc). The open air living room and kitchen provide plenty of space. Our favorite feature was the dipping pool and the lounge chairs on the deck. The A/C in the bedrooms provided comfortable sleeping conditions. We enjoyed having the ability to eat some meals in the unit and to have a glass of wine while watching the beautiful sunsets. The Ensueno 10 complex is amazing. It's design provides privacy for each unit and the pool/palapa area is a great place to hang out. The staff members went above and beyond to provide great service and their attention to detail was evident. The walk to the beach (La Ropa) took 5 minutes and cabs were readily available to head to town (although it's an enjoyable walk in the morning). My wife and I had a relaxing stay! - Ryan and Angela

We enjoyed a mid-November break from the cold and rain at this brand new condo perched above the Playa Las Ropas, one of Zihuatanejo's loveliest white sand beaches. Prior to leaving we'd learned this was a favourite spot of several people we knew who return on an annual basis and am happy to say our high expectations were completely satisfied! We spent several days sitting at the beachside restaurants (as recommended by the owners in the helpful information package) watching parasailors, kayakers, boogie boarders and snorkelers from the comfort of umbrella covered lounge chairs…even had a chance to watch the latest in beachside adventure when a water jet pack fellow came by to entertain (think Leo DiCaprio!!). We also walked into town more than once to sightsee and take in the market and excellent local cuisine (Carmelitas is a must!). As wonderful as Zihua is, the comfort and luxury of the condo made leaving almost feel like a chore. This very private unit comes equipped with high end furnishings and fixtures, towels and linens. The gourmet kitchen has everything you need to make a night in feel like something special including its own wine fridge, gas range, blender, stainless appliances, beautiful glasswork and architectural detail. The owners provide plenty of recommendations for local eating if you just feel like being taken care of...which we did. Both bedrooms are air conditioned and are on opposite sides of the casa to ensure comfort and privacy - the floor to ceiling glass and screen panels mean you don't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the view! The property has a gorgeous infinity pool with stylish and comfortable lounge furniture and an open air covered bar and lounge area which meant the sun and shade seekers of our party could co-exist happily. Finishing touches of locally sourced artwork, a full entertainment system including Bose sound for iPod and a satellite movie system, the inclusion of full laundry and your own private dip pool made it too easy to stay home. Taxis are available for trips to town and walking is an option too - we walked during the day and took cabs at night. There is no shortage of things to see and do in Zihua - this is a lovely part of the world and a gorgeous condo to experience it from. - Liane and Eve

We loved everything about our trip and found Zihuatanejo is our new favorite place to go in Mexico. Our vacation was made even better with our stay at Casa Ziesta. Situated close to the beach and minutes from downtown, we found everything very convenient. Casa Ziesta is a beautiful modern new home, extremely clean and tastefully decorated. From the deluxe kitchen equipped with a large fridge, stove and dishwasher, to the large living room and amazing onyx dining table, to the master bedroom with a king size bed, beautiful secong bedroom and two master baths filled with onyx and stone, the entire surroundings were completely luxurious. We really enjoyed the private deck and cooling off in the dip pool and a spectacular view of Zihuatanejo Bay from every room. The stunning infinity pool, view of the bay and outdoor barbecue are supplied with beautifully padded lounge chairs and pillows. The staff Edi, Enrique and Ana were very courteous, cheerful and always ready to help. Already planning our next trip to Casa Ziesta Zihuatanejo. - Cherith and Colin

A view you'll never get tired of which can be enjoyed from your private deck or the common infinity pool. I'm not sure which was my favourite to watch the sun set. Everything you need is here in your destination home. There are many restaurants to walk to or stay in and cook in the gourmet kitchen. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They keep the property clean and well maintained. It is easy to relax as you soak in the local art through sculpture and paintings - my favourite hangs in the living room - Men Going to Sea. This was my first trip to Zihuatanejo and surely won't be my last. - ​Diane

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This is an exceptional condo in an outstanding quiet complex. The condo is very much as described, including incredible bay view, outstanding luxury design and the close proximity to the beach. The modern openness of the whole place made for a very relaxing vacation. Dip pool was great to just cool down during the mid-day heat and common pool was quiet most times. The on-site staff were very friendly and Edi, the concierge, even brought us fresh made ice cream from his in-laws ice cream store in Ixtapa. The guidebook that is in the unit is very informative and helpful for pointing out good restaurants and activities with maps of downtown and a great guide to the surrounding beaches. After staying at all-inclusives for several years, I found Casa Ziesta a refreshing change and definitely will be back. - Wayne
